This notice explains how M H INDEPENDENT LIMITED (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you get in touch or place an order. We are a small wholesale business. There is no customer login on this website, and we do not use advertising cookies.

What we collect
When you call or email us, we typically hold:
- Your name, job title and the name of your business
- A telephone number and email address
- Delivery address and any access notes you give us
- Order history, quotes and related correspondence
We do not buy mailing lists. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
Why we use it
- To quote, confirm and fulfil wholesale orders (performance of a contract, or steps you ask us to take before a contract)
- To return calls, chase deliveries and keep a record of what was agreed (legitimate interests in running the business)
- To keep accounting records as required by UK company and tax law (legal obligation)
We do not send marketing newsletters. If that ever changes, we will ask first.
Calls
The telephone number on this site is used for trade enquiries, stock checks, order confirmation and arranging delivery. We may keep a written note of a call. We do not routinely record calls.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details that do not become an order are kept only as long as needed to finish the conversation, then deleted or archived within twelve months. Records that form part of an order or invoice are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, which is the usual period for accounting records.
Who we share it with
We share what is necessary with carriers and suppliers to complete an order, and with professional advisers or HMRC if we are required to. We do not sell personal information.

This website is for information only. It does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The host may set strictly necessary cookies for security or load balancing. You can use the site without creating an account.
Your rights
